Service Terms and Conditions
1. Quotes, Estimates & Scope of Work
- All written quotations issued by OP Professional Property Services are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
- Quotations are based on visual site inspections or information provided by the client. Any unforeseen site conditions, concealed defects, or structural variations discovered during the works will be quoted and approved via variation prior to undertaking additional work.
2. Trade Services & Subcontractor Coordination
OP Professional Property Services operates as a fully insured property-services provider. For non-specialist tasks (such as general property maintenance, pressure cleaning, lawn care, rubbish removal, and general handyman repairs), work is delivered directly by OP's experienced team.
Where a client engages us for specialist or regulated trade services (including electrical installations, plumbing and drainage, high-risk roofing, glazing, or structural carpentry), OP coordinates appropriately licensed and insured tradespeople who hold valid contractor licenses issued by NSW Fair Trading. All compliance certificates (such as CCEWs for electrical works) are issued by the licensed tradesperson carrying out the work.
3. Urgent Property Repairs & Response Times
We prioritise urgent property repairs, leak mitigations, and make-safe requests during our standard operating hours, subject to team and trade contractor availability. We do not offer or represent guaranteed 24-hour round-the-clock emergency attendance.
4. Client Obligations & Site Access
- The client must provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area, including access to electricity and water supply where required to execute the services.
- Clients must disclose any known hazards (such as asbestos, exposed live wiring, or hazardous substances) prior to commencement of works.
5. Invoicing & Payment Terms
- Payment terms are strictly as specified on the quotation and tax invoice.
- For larger projects or specialised materials orders, a deposit may be required prior to scheduling and commencement.
- Invoices may be settled via direct bank transfer, credit card, or approved commercial account arrangements.
6. Warranties & Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a remedy for major service failures and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Workmanship is carried out with due care and skill, using materials fit for purpose in compliance with applicable Australian Standards.
7. Insurance & Public Liability
OP Professional Property Services maintains comprehensive Public Liability Insurance coverage for all operations. All engaged trade subcontractors are verified to carry current Public Liability and relevant workers compensation insurance prior to site deployment.
