1. Operating Model & Regulatory Structure

OP Professional Property Services delivers comprehensive property care across Western Sydney. To ensure full compliance with the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW), NSW Fair Trading regulations, and Australian Consumer Law, our service delivery is structured into two clear categories:

Direct Property Services: Non-structural property maintenance, high-pressure cleaning, lawn and garden care, end-of-lease vacate cleaning, rubbish removal, and minor non-specialist handyman repairs are performed directly by our fully insured team.
Regulated & Specialist Trade Work: All specialist trade works requiring statutory contractor licences under NSW law (including electrical wiring, plumbing, gas-fitting, drainage, structural carpentry, and compliance-certified glazing) are coordinated by OP and executed by independently licensed and insured trade contractors.

2. Regulated Trade Breakdown & NSW Standards

Electrical Services

All electrical installations, switchboard upgrades, safety inspections, and power circuits are completed by trade contractors holding a valid Electrical Contractor Licence issued by NSW Fair Trading. Work complies strictly with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), and a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) is provided upon completion where mandated.

Plumbing & Drainage Services

All plumbing, drainage, hot water system installations, and gas-fitting tasks are completed by qualified tradespeople holding an appropriate Plumbing Contractor Licence. Works adhere to the National Construction Code (NCC) Volume Three and AS/NZS 3500 plumbing and drainage standards.

Glazing & Glass Replacement

Glass repairs and window replacements comply with AS 1288 (Glass in Buildings – Selection and Installation) and AS 2208 (Safety Glazing Materials in Buildings), ensuring Grade A safety glass is installed in all designated high-impact human zones.

Specialist Carpentry & Building Works

Any specialist or structural building works exceeding statutory licensing thresholds are completed by licensed Building or Carpentry Contractor license holders in compliance with the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW).

3. Subcontractor Verification Standards

Before any trade subcontractor is assigned to a client project, OP Professional Property Services conducts rigorous due-diligence verification, ensuring each trade contractor possesses:

An active, unrestricted NSW Fair Trading trade licence in the applicable category.
Current Public & Products Liability Insurance policy (minimum $10,000,000 to $20,000,000 cover).
Active Workers Compensation insurance (where required) and safe work method statements (SWMS).
